130 <br />Council Member Reinert introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 36 - 91 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR GRADING OF WHITE TAIL RIDGE <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />WHEREAS: pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the <br />grading of White Tail Ridge improvement, bids were <br />received, opened and tabulated according to law, <br />and the following bids were received complying with <br />the advertisement: <br />NAME & ADDRESS AMOUNT OF BID <br />Arnt Construction Company, Inc. <br />P. O. Box 224 <br />Lino Lakes, Mn. 55038 <br />Glenn Rehbein Excavating, Inc. <br />7309 Lake Drive <br />Lino Lakes, Mn. 55014 <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />$12,007.59 <br />$14,989.55 <br />it appears that Arnt Construction Company, <br />Inc., P. O. Box 224, Lino Lakes, Minnesota is <br />the lowest responsible bidder, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and the Clerk are hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into the attached contract with Arndt <br />Construction Company, Inc. P. O. Box 224, Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota for the grading of White Tail Ridge according <br />to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the <br />City Council and on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with <br />their bids, except that the deposits of the successful <br />bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained <br />until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 22nd day of <br />April, 1991. <br />
