1 <br />1 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />uses McGough. <br />JUNE 24, 1991 <br />Council Member Reinert moved to extend exclusive development <br />right to Mr. Lappin for another 180 days contingent upon ordering <br />the market study within the next 60 days Council Member Bohjanen <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Council Member Neal listed several items he would like discussed: <br />1) Archie Gay Lawsuit, 2) Ways and Means Committee meeting, and <br />3) Circle Pines Police Department speeding through Lino Lakes. <br />Mr. Schumacher explained that Chief Campbell has sent a letter to <br />the Circle Pines Police Department and the Circle Pines Police <br />Chief has responded to the letter. <br />The Council set a Ways and Means Committee meeting for Monday, <br />July 1, 1991 at 6:30 P.M. Notices will be sent to Council <br />members. <br />Mr. Schumacher explained that all three cities have received <br />notice of the Archie Gay lawsuit. He recommended that this <br />Council endorse the Fire District attorney to defend the case. <br />Mr. Schumacher noted that the Fire District attorney is already <br />familiar with the case. <br />Council Member Bohjanen moved to forward this matter to the Fire <br />District attorney. Council Member Reinert seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Miller explained that he has visited with Mr. Schumacher <br />regarding two (2) redevelopment proposals that he has received <br />for Ross' Corner. Mr. Miller asked to review the proposal with <br />the Council and obtain a consensus from the Council on how he <br />should proceed with the matter. The Council decided to meet in a <br />work session with Mr. Miller immediately following this Council <br />meeting. <br />Council Member Reinert moved to adjourn at 9:52 P.M. Council <br />Member Bohjanen seconded the motion.
