These
details will be worked out later.
Many concerns of the Marvy Street residents were considered such
as the fact that there would be a considerable amount of traffic
on a county road, limited access to their own properties, what
will happen to the trees on Outlot C, would taking of right -of-
way affect the ability to subdivide their property as well as
other concerns. The residents along Sunset Road were concerned
about how close the new street would come to their homes.
The question of what could be done to lessen the impact of the
street was considered. There was a suggestion that the City
purchase the south 200 feet of each of the Marvy Street lots.
What would the financial impact of this be? What would the
landscaping plans be? Mr. Schneider said that with the
preparation of the plans and specifications for the street, many
of these questions could be addressed.
The public hearing was moved to May 26, 1992 at 8:08 P.M. All
questions will be addressed at that time.
ENGINEER'S REPORT, DARRELL SCHNEIDER
Resolution No. 92 - 51 Receiving Report and Calling Improvement
Hearing on Shores of Marshan Lake for May 26, 1992, 6:50 P.M.
Council Member Kuether moved to adopt Resolution No. 92 - 51.
Council Member Neal seconded the motion.
