Council Member Reinert introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01 -18 <br />RESOLUTION TO SUPPORT ANOKA COUNTY CONSERVATION DISTRICT METRO <br />GREENWAYS PLANNING GRANT APPLICATION FY 2001 <br />WHEREAS, , The City of Lino Lakes regards the natural resources within the City as an <br />asset and worthy of management; <br />AND WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes is presently cooperating with the Minnesota <br />Department of Natural resources and The Anoka County Conservation District in efforts <br />to inventory and standardize land resource classifications for 3/4 of the City; <br />AND WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes has a need to perform the same resource <br />inventory in the SE Corner of the City; <br />• AND WHEREAS, This new inventory will allow for higher detail, and standard language <br />between surrounding cities, counties, and the State of Minnesota, <br />• <br />AND WHEREAS, This inventory will allow for higher detail greenway planning, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. That the City of Lino Lakes wishes to enter into agreement with the Anoka County <br />Conservation District to perform such resource inventory on 7,835 acres of land as <br />described in ACD Metro Greenways Planning Grant Application FY 2001. <br />2. That the City of Lino Lakes will budget $2,600 in FY 2002 budget and provide <br />$1,400 in kind contribution as part of this grant request to the Minnesota Department <br />of Natural Resources. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 22nd day of January, 2001. <br />Ry- el GaR ustad, CMC City Clerk <br />ifirirP‘j <br />r1� <br />John J. ergeson, Mayor <br />
