Council Member Carlson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01 -30 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF STUDY FOR THE SADDLE CLUB <br />UTILITY AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, in response to a petition from property owners located southwest of the D. <br />Erickson 2nd Addition in an area proposed to be platted into the Saddle Club subdivision, <br />it is proposed to improve Old Birch Street and Killdeer Drive by constructing trunk <br />sanitary sewer and watermain improvements, and <br />WHEREAS, the City proposes to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and Chapter 8 <br />of the Lino Lakes City Charter, and <br />WHEREAS, ordering the preparation of this study does not signify any City approval <br />related to the proposed development, including preliminary plat, zoning, or MUSA <br />requests. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. That the proposed improvements be referred to the City Engineer for study and <br />that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising <br />the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvements are <br />feasible and as to whether they should best be made as proposed or in <br />connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the <br />improvements as recommended. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 26th ay of February, 2101. <br />Caroline Dahl, <br />cting Mayor <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Dahl and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Carlson, Dahl, O'Donnell, Reinert <br />Absent - Bergeson <br />None <br />Whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted. <br />CERTIFICATION <br />I hereby certify that the above is a correct co, of a resolution duly passed, adopted and <br />approved by the City Council on February 2 , 001. 1 <br />• <br />Ryf{Chel Gaustad, CMC City Clerk <br />
