• Council Member adoption. • • Dahl introduced the following resolution and moved its CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 01-54 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATIONS FROM THE LINO LAKES LIONS CLUB AND MOUNTAIN ENTERPRISES FOR KITE DAY WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club and Mountain Enterprises supports the Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department; and WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department is holding its sixth annual Kite Day on June 2, 2001; and WHEREAS, the event is free to the families of Lino Lakes; and WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club and Mountain Enterprises were made aware of the event and the desire of the Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department to conduct Kite Day with the support of program sponsors; and WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club has donated $300.00 and Mountain Enterprises has donated $250.00 to defer the cost of this event. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, the Council accepts the Lino Lakes Lions Club donation of $300.00 and the Mountain Enterprises donation of $250.00 to help finance Kite Day and wishes to express its sincere gratitude and appreciation for the donations. Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 23rd day of April, 2001.
