The ad is to run only in Saturday and
Sunday editions. Mr. Zelinka moved to run the classified ad as described. Mr.
Cardinal Seconded. Motion carried.
Mr. Bohjanen reported that Mr. Backlin had checked on damage to the pump house done by
kids. He felt that the pump house should be fenced, and wondered if this cost could
be included in the bond issue. Mr. Locher said we would have to re- advertise for a
fence and that we should get bids for it. The Council felt that there should be a
8' fence with a lip and with a locked gate. They asked that Mr. Backlin take care of
this.
Mr. Zelinka reported that he had ridden with the Police one evening last week and on
checking the pump house found that the turn around space is inadequate. In order
to turn safely you have to run onto the lawn area. The Council asked that Mr.
Gotwald check on this problem and report back.
Mr. Marier felt that we should not accept the contract as completed until the turn
around is adequate.
Mr. Jaworski reported that there is a hearing on the Airport on Oct. 4, 1972. That
the location is not known as yet but last year the Council went on record as
favoring a North Site. He felt that we should repass the Resolution. Mr. Jaworski
moved to repass the Resolution that the Council of Lino Lakes go on record as favoring
the North Site for the New Airport. Mr. Cardinal seconded. Motion carried with Mr.
Marier voting No.
Mr. Jaworski moved to approve the requisitions #128 with specified changes and #141
through #143. Mr. Zelinka seconded. Carried.
Mr. Zelinka moved to the bills #4710 and #4718 through #4745. Mr. Jaworski seconded.
Carried.
Mr. Zelinka moved to adjourn at 10:35 P. M. Mr. Jaworski secon d. Aye.
Minutes approved at the October 10,H972 meeting
Edna Sarner/ Clerk-Treasurer
October 10, 1972
The special assessment hearing for U. S. Lakes Development Company was called to
order at 8:00 P. M. by Mayor Bohjanen. Trustees present: Jaworski, Marier. Absent
Cardinal, Zelinka. Mr. Locher and Mr. Gotwald were also present. Minutes were
taken by the Clerk. U. S. Lakes was represented by Mr. Dielentheis.
Mr. Locher read the legal publication notice of the reassessment hearing. Mr.
Bohjanen explained that due to replatting of some properties in the area that the
reassessment meeting would have to be continued to a later date when a decision
is made on the replatting. Mr. Dielentheis agreed that a continuation of the
hearing was desirable from their position also. The date of October 17, 1972
was discussed but Mr. Gotwald had a conflict for that evening. The date of Oct.
19, 1972 was set for the re -= opening of the hearing. Mr. Jaworski moved to continue
the special assessment hearing for U. S. Lakes Development Company until October
19, 1972, at 8:00 P. M. Mr. Marier seconded. Carried.
