1 <br />1 <br />10 -10 -72 <br />The Clerk was asked to get the specs for a new police car from the County. <br />Mr. Bohjanen requested the Clerk to send "Thank you" letters to the Boy Scouts and <br />the Civil defense for delivering the flyers on the Open Space Meeting and Voter <br />Registration. Mr. Zelinka moved to do so. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion <br />carried. <br />Under old business the budget was discussed. Motion Carried. <br />A letter from the Metro Counci Iwas read informing the Council that the County <br />of Anoka has applied for Federal funds to develop the park in Lino Lakes. They <br />are now talking about 2500 acres of land. Mr. Marier moved to have the Clerk <br />write a letter to the Metro Council informing them that we are still holding <br />meetings and so far have not reached an agreement. The Village Council has <br />rejected the County's proposal on that portion affecting the Village of Lino Lakes. <br />Thte Council also rejects the Metro Park Board's proposal. We are presently <br />working on our own plans and feel since this plan directly affects our Village <br />that our input should have presendence. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried. <br />Mrs. Sarrner read a letter that Mr. Bohjanen had received rom the Anoka Library asking <br />for time at one Council meeting to explain their need for a place to house the Anoka <br />County Library extension that has been housed in the Centennial Senior High School. <br />The Council agreed to invite Mr. Young to appear at the October 24th meeting. The <br />Clerk was instructed to write a letter inviting Mr. Young to appear at that time. <br />The requisitions, 144 thru 148 were approved. Holding #149 for clairification. <br />Mr. Marier moved to accept the bills #4766 through #4770 and pay as presented. <br />Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Carried. <br />In a discussion on the road bills it was decided to contact Mr. Schifsky on the <br />Ware Road problem and ask for a reduction since there would be no seal coat and <br />no rock. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to adjorun at 10:00 P. Lakes Development Company was called to <br />order at 7:20 P. M. by Mayor Bohjanen. Trustees present; Cardinal, Marier, and <br />Zelinka. Absent: Jaworski. U. S. Lakes was represented by Mr. Dielentheis and Mr. <br />Busch. Mr. Marier asked the clerk to read the recommendations from the P &Z Board. <br />
