1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />August 13, 1973 <br />The Councilmen have had copies of this Ordinance for some time. Mr. <br />Jaworski moved to adopt Ordinance 57B. Seconded by Mr. Ze I i nka. Motion <br />carried. Mr. Locher w i l l arrange for the legal pub I i cation of this <br />Ordinace. <br />Mr-. Jaworski reported that the new Patrol car has a funny sound in the <br />rear end at certain speeds and should be teturned for a check before the <br />warranty expires. He asked that Mr. Back I i n arrange for the car to be <br />taken in tomorrow. The Clerk will assist if necessary. <br />The Clerk is to call Mr-. Glen Rehbein and inform him that the installa- <br />tion of the street signs in Shenandoah is his responsibi lity and if they <br />are put in by the Village, he will be billed for the cost. <br />Mr-. Backl in said there are no more water meters on hand - should he make <br />out a requisition for them or just order? The Council asked that he <br />make out a requisition for 1 0 meters so we w i I I have some on hand. <br />Mr. Backl in also reported that the intersection of East Shadow Lake <br />Drive and Lantern Lane needs to be repaired. There was discussion on <br />who was responsible for this work. Since the streets have not been <br />accepted by the Vi I lage, Mr. Jaworksi moved to have the Clerk write to <br />U.S. LAkes asking them to have the street repaired. If the street is <br />not repaired to the satisfaction of our inspector, the bonds will not <br />be released on Sept. 15, 1973. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried.. <br />Mr. Jaworski wondered what kind of operation was being carried on at <br />Skyline Auto Body. There seems to be a lot of steel beams in the area. <br />He asked just what could be done a commercial zone such as this. <br />Mr. Locher read the I ist and could not determine i f what they are doing <br />is legal or not. The P &Z is to ask about it at their meeting on Aug. 15, 1973. <br />Mr. Locher had made his call to Mr. Lundberg and Mr. Lundberg had agreed <br />to accept $150.00. He will return the equipment on Wed. Aug. 15, 1973. <br />The Clerk is to write his payroll check and Mr. Bohjanen will stop in <br />and sign it before that time. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to approve requisition #282 through #292, holding #'s <br />283 and 286. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to pay bills #5245 through #5278 inclusive and #5235. <br />Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to adjourn at 11:45 P.M. Council- <br />men present; Jaworski , Marier, Ze l i nka. Absent; Cardinal . Mr. Marier <br />moved to continue the Council meeting until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, Aug. <br />30, 1973.
