214 Oct. 23, 1973 Mr. Jaworski moved that Joanne Pankratz be hired as Deputy -Clerk until the ad is run for the position, applications received and the Deputy -Clerk is formally hired. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried. Mr. Zelinka asked that the Clerk write a job description for the Deputy- Clerk's position. Under old business, the matter on paying the bills for the work done in Lino Park in conjunction with the Lions Club was discussed. The Council felt that we could not enter into a joint fund with the Lions Club because they are a corporation and this would be illegal for a Village. It was decided that the Lions Club will pay the bills until their designated amount is exhausted, the bills will be sent to the Village to be paid and entered against the amount designated by the Village to be spent on that particular project. No Bills are to be for $500.00 or more. Mr. Zelinka moved to approve Requisitions #313 through #322. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried. Mr. Jaworski moved to pay bills #5380 through #5406 and payroll #2200 through #2223. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried. Mr. Marier moved to adjourn at 10:00 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Aye. The minutes approved at the meeting Nov. 12, 1973. November 7, 1973 The special meeting of the Lino Lakes Village Council was called to order at 8:00 P. M. by mayor Bohjanen. Councilmen present; Marier, Zelinka, Absent; Cardinal, Jaworski. Mr. Bohjanen made note of the fact that this meeting was for the purpose of canvassing the ballots cast in the Village Election held on November 6, 1973. Mr. Jaworski arrived. The Clerk read the totals as follows; For the office of Mayor; Mr. Bohjanen 277 Mr. Jaworski 187 Mr. Hanson 172 Mr. Olson 1 (write in) Mrs. Edwardson 2 (write in) Blank 1 Total 640 For the office of Trustee; Mr. McLean 420 Mr. Kent 260 Blank 14 Total 640 The Clerk reported that she had registered 56 new voters on Election Day.
