214 <br />Oct. 23, 1973 <br />Mr. Jaworski moved that Joanne Pankratz be hired as Deputy -Clerk until the ad is <br />run for the position, applications received and the Deputy -Clerk is formally <br />hired. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Zelinka asked that the Clerk write a job description for the Deputy- Clerk's <br />position. <br />Under old business, the matter on paying the bills for the work done in Lino Park <br />in conjunction with the Lions Club was discussed. The Council felt that we could <br />not enter into a joint fund with the Lions Club because they are a corporation <br />and this would be illegal for a Village. It was decided that the Lions Club will <br />pay the bills until their designated amount is exhausted, the bills will be sent <br />to the Village to be paid and entered against the amount designated by the Village <br />to be spent on that particular project. No Bills are to be for $500.00 or more. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve Requisitions #313 through #322. Seconded by Mr. Marier. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to pay bills #5380 through #5406 and payroll #2200 through <br />#2223. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Marier moved to adjourn at 10:00 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Aye. <br />The minutes approved at the meeting Nov. 12, 1973. <br />November 7, 1973 <br />The special meeting of the Lino Lakes Village Council was called to order at <br />8:00 P. M. by mayor Bohjanen. Councilmen present; Marier, Zelinka, Absent; <br />Cardinal, Jaworski. <br />Mr. Bohjanen made note of the fact that this meeting was for the purpose of <br />canvassing the ballots cast in the Village Election held on November 6, 1973. <br />Mr. Jaworski arrived. <br />The Clerk read the totals as follows; <br />For the office of Mayor; Mr. Bohjanen 277 <br />Mr. Jaworski 187 <br />Mr. Hanson 172 <br />Mr. Olson 1 (write in) <br />Mrs. Edwardson 2 (write in) <br />Blank 1 <br />Total 640 <br />For the office of Trustee; Mr. McLean 420 <br />Mr. Kent 260 <br />Blank 14 <br />Total 640 <br />The Clerk reported that she had registered 56 new voters on Election Day. <br />
