1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />May 13, 1974 <br />any other department within the City and must go through the same channels as <br />all others do. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve requisitions Number 415 through and including 428. <br />Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried. <br />Mr.• Zelinka mentioned, that in connection with the removal of the CD truck from <br />the garage without the knowledge of anyone, he would suggest some sort of a sign <br />out sheet. This will note who has the vehicle and at what location. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to approve checks number 5726 through and including 5759. <br />Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 11:30 p.m. Seconded ley Mr. McLean. Aye <br />The minutes approved at the May 28, 1974 meeting. <br />Clerk-Treasurer <br />May 21, 1974 <br />The Board of Review meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. on May 21, 1974 by <br />Mayor Bohjane. Councilmen present; Jaworski, McLean, Zelinka. Absent; Marier. Mrs. <br />Edna Sarner, Assessor, Mr. Arnold Kelling, Deputy Assessor, and Mr. Jim Thurston <br />of the Anoka County Assessor's Office were also present. <br />Mr. Everett Hanson of Holly Drive questioned the raise in valuation on his property. <br />The books were checked and it was found that he had added a new garage. This <br />valuation had been added to his assessment. <br />Mr. Gary Barott of Birch Street questioned the ratio of increase in his taxes <br />using the form that was printed in the Circulating Pines. Mr. Thurston explained <br />the 5% increase in valuation and the raise in school mell rate. He took the plat <br />and parcel numbers of Mr. Barott's property and will have this checked in the <br />Assessor's office and see if he can get some answers to Mr. Barott's questions. <br />There was general discussion on the high taxes and the causes. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to accept the 1974 assessment. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion <br />carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 9:00 p.m. Seconded b Mr. McLean.
