There are some very expensive ways to <br />correct problems, and some systems just might need a little maintenance. <br />Mr. Hutchison said some areas (not necessarily Lino Lakes) in county just <br />don't have sufficient cess pools. He indicated he would be happy to have <br />any suggestions and it would be fine to have these matters turned over to <br />the village engineer and he in turn contact him. <br />Mr. Bohjanen asked if the Council couldn't be advised when checks of this <br />type are going to be made. Mr. Hutchison said yes, they could. The sample <br />letter sent the first part of June 1971, was passed to the Council members <br />for their examination. <br />Attorney Locher indicated that the trespassing law has recently been changed. <br />It now states that it is not a criminal trespass unless you tell someone to <br />leave and they don't. Except in the case of someone coming on property and <br />subsequently doing damage. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved that a letter be written to Mr. Hutchison informing him <br />we would like to contact our village residents who received these letters, <br />and that there then would be correspondence between our engineer and the <br />County Health Inspector's office. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried un- <br />animously. <br />Tom Van Housen called the Clerk to say that, after flying over the village, <br />he noticed that Molin Concrete has not done any of the promised landscaping. <br />He felt that the village should get after them to get at it. Mr. Bohjanen <br />moved that a letter be written to remind them of such. Seconded by Mr. <br />Rosengren. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to ratify retroactively the fire contract checks which <br />were signed at the July 26th meeting, and not yet paid. Seconded by Mr. <br />Bohjanen. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Rosengren moved that the District Zoning Code be printed by the Forest <br />Lake Times at a cost of $6.00 per 500 sheets. The Clerk noted that if we <br />were to photocopy them ourselves it would come to $640 plus labor. Seconded <br />by Mr. Cardinal. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Gotwald indicated he had checked on the variance on a piece of land <br />asked for by Mr. Nadeau. He said the proposed drain tilings would work. He <br />stated the building permit shouldn't be held up because of drainage. Mr. <br />Jaworski moved they authorize issuance of a permit to Mr. Nadeau. Seconded <br />by Mr. Cardinal. Carried unanimously. <br />A lady from the audience wanted to know when something was going to be done <br />to 24th Ave. Mr. L'Allier explained we're trying to get it turned over to the <br />county. The county wouldn't do it before the freeway was completed. We <br />have suggested this evening that we exchange some of these roads with the <br />county. Then they would maintain them. Mr. Gotwald indicated that next <br />week 24th should be graveled and dust treated. He suggested Lino Lakes and <br />Oneka should get together. <br />A man from the audience wanted to know when something was going to be done <br />to 80th. He was advised ditches have to be cleaned and then work will be <br />accomplished. <br />Mr. Donald Szymanski brought up the fact that a variance for building permit <br />was brought up a couple years ago. He would like to bring it up again. <br />
