z2U <br />3/30/72 <br />A special meeting of the Lino Lakes Village Council held on March 30, 1972, was <br />calledto order by Mayor Bohjanen at 7 :37 p.m. Members presend were Jaworski, <br />Marier & Swanson; absent was Cardinal. Clerk- Treasurer took notes. <br />Mr. Bohjanen stated that the purpose of the meeting was to review ideas to have <br />put in letter form on the growth potential for the past year. He noted that the <br />meeting was called at the last regular meeting on March 27th. <br />Mr. Marier moved to Waive the customary 5 -day notice of the special meeting. <br />Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Bohjanen noted that the meeting with the Metro Council had been changed from <br />the 5th to the 19th of April. Mr. Marier noted that they would discuss engineer - <br />inr on the 5th; we '-Mould make our plea on the 19th. Mr. Marier thought we <br />should have this report to them by the 5th. Mrs. Swanson asked if the 5th wasn't <br />their regular meeting, when we were going to present our case. Mr. varier said <br />that they haven't taken us off the agenda, but they have taken our plea off the <br />agenda. <br />The Clerk, on the Mayor's request, had drafted a report on the Census figures <br />and building permits. This was discussed as well as some other ideas on what <br />the Metro sewer Board actually wanted. <br />The report from the Clerk was changed to read as follows: <br />REPORT ON CENSUS FIGURES <br />1965 U.S. Census 3101 <br />1970 U.S. Census 3692 <br />1971 Metro Council estimate 3801 <br />RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS IN 1971 <br />Single - family <br />Permits taken out in 1970 & finished in 1971 7 <br />Permits taken out in 1971 & finished in 1971 19 <br />Permits taken out in 1971 & not completed in 1971 10 <br />Permits taken out in 1971 & not yet started in 1971 3 <br />Model home permits taken out in 1971 4 <br />Townhouses <br />Permit taken out in 1971 & not finished in 1971 (model) 1 (for 2 units) <br />RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS IN 1972 <br />Single - family <br />Permits taken out in January 0 <br />Permits taken out in February 3 <br />Permits taken out in March to date + applications 5 <br />Mr. Marier moved to adopt this report as submitted by the Clerk and to submit <br />it with a cover letter to the Metro sewer Board, attention of Mr. Milton H nsey. <br />Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Bohjanen noted that he had gotten a call from Don Heath of the American <br />Pinto Assn which wanted to use the Hall on Sunday, April 23rd; they would leave <br />everything clean. Mr. Heath hoped the group of 20 -25 might use the Hall for <br />more meetings. Mrs. Swanson asked who would let them in on a Sunday. Mr. <br />Bohjanen volunteered to do so as he lives close enough. Mrs. Swanson couldn't <br />see that. Mr. Bohjanen said it was a service he didn't mind doing. <br />Mr. Marier moved to let them use the Hall on April 23rd. Seconded by Mr. <br />Jaworski.
