Carried unanimously. <br />A notice had been received from the Twin Cities Area Metropolitan Transit Commission <br />on a special seminar to be held at 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on May 9 at Alexander <br />Ramsey High School, 1261 W. Hwy. 36 in,Roseville. <br />The Clerk presented an application for a sewer installation license from El Rehbein <br />and Son, Inc. and stated that applications were forthcoming for Berghorst Plumbing & <br />Heating and Pinewood Sewer and Water Service. Mr. Bohjanen moved to grant sewer <br />installation licenses to the above three firms providing the proper papers are <br />received. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. <br />The Clerk reported that a packet of information regarding trailer parks had been <br />received from Minnesota Dept. of Health; however, it did not contain,the requested <br />statistics. Mr. Jaworski moved to send another letter to the Minnesota Dept. of <br />Health requesting statistics on mobile home parks. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried <br />unanimously. <br />A copy of Ordinance No. 76 from Circle Pines regarding dogs, licensing of same, <br />etc. was passed around. _- <br />The Clerk asked the Council to give authorization to the Building Inspector for the <br />inspection of current signs which will require permits by June 8th and to obtain <br />owners' names for same as well as to inspect all signs which have been granted <br />permits; also to set up remuneration for this work. After discussion, Mr. Rosengren <br />moved to authorize Mr. Dupre to do this work and to be paid $2.70 per hour plus <br />mileage for it. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried unanimously. <br />The Clerk stated that Mr. Gotwald had finished the specifications on the municipal <br />building and wished to present them to the Building Committee and the Council, <br />preferably at a special meeting. Mr. Bohjanen moved to set a special meeting on <br />May 18th at 8:00 p.m. for the review of the municipal building specifications for <br />bids. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. Mr. Jaworski stated that <br />the regularly scheduled Park Board meeting for that evening would be moved to another <br />date. <br />The Clerk asked for clarification of Ordinance 31, Section 2, Sub. 2, which states <br />that only three on -sale liquor licenses shall be granted. W. Bohjanen moved to <br />authorize the Attorney to draft an amendment to Ord. 31 stating that the number of <br />on -sale licenses shall be as authorized by State law. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. <br />Carried unanimously. <br />The Clerk also asked for revision in Ord. 31A, as it presently states that the <br />initial half of the on -sale fee must be paid by July lst, whereas by action taken <br />at the last Council meeting of the initial half of the fee must accompany the <br />application which is acted upon at the last meeting in May. After discussion, <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to authorize Mr. Locher to draft the requested change to have <br />the initial fee accompany the application for an on -sale liquor license, providing <br />that said amendment is published prior to May 25th; also that the amendment state <br />the reason for the application having to be in because it is required by State law. <br />Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried unanimously. <br />The Clerk read a notice of hearing from the Metropolitan Sewer Board for a hearing <br />on June 24th at 7:30 p.m. at the Arts & Science Center, 30 East 10th Street, St. Paul, <br />on establishing 6 proposed sewer service areas. <br />
