Also °present were the following members of the
Building Committee: John McLean, Glenn Rehbein, Roy Backlin and Ken Miller, as
well as Art Hagen of Mattson Building & Supply Co.
Mr. Bohjanen moved to waive the notices of this meeting. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren.
Carried unanimously.
Mr. L'Allier stated that the purpose of the meeting was to go over the exceptions
and variations to the original building specifications. He mentioned the matter
of the insulation which has been gone into extensively already. Mr. L'Allier then
broached the subject of the ceiling liner. Mr. Hagen stated that he had not
gotten the breakdown of putting in 3" insulation without the liner since he felt
sure that we would go with the 8 ". He stated that the 8" insulation was of
2 -1 /4# density and that no facing would hold this weight in place which is why
they use the ceiling liner to lay it on. Those present felt that the facing on
the 3" insulation could be easily punctured thus losing the vapor barrier.
1
