• 2 <br />1/"5/71 <br />An extensive discussion ensued on snowplowing end mail boxes. <br />The new neputy Clerk had told Mr. cardinal that she was not able to drive at <br />night for the evening meetings for which she is required to take the minutes <br />and that she does not always have transportation for day time work. The <br />Council wished to hire R new deputy Glerk,who would be able to handle All <br />phases of the position. <br />Mr, Bohjanen moved to advertise for a new Deputy Clerk and in addition to <br />rotating the clerical abilitied necessary, the following would also be stated <br />in the ad: <br />1. must have own transportation <br />2. Must work some evenings and take minutes for all special <br />Council meetings. <br />3. Must take minutes for and act es Secretary to the Planning <br />and Zoning Board. <br />Motion seconded by Mc. Jaworski. carried. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to get bids from Ken Miller and Duane Cardinal for a <br />storage balcony for the shop. Lowest bid and Quickest action wil both be <br />considered in granting the bid in order to have it built before Open House„ <br />Seconded by W. Rosengren. Carried. <br />Mr..Jaworski moved to pay the bills as audited. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. <br />Carried. <br />mils. Anne Bohjanen noted that according to her notes a public hearing was <br />held on October 11, 1965, concerning the streets in Twilight Acres. The <br />Clerk will check the minutes on this matter. <br />The Mayor mentioned that we should call a hearing on all unimproved roads in <br />the Village. The people whould be made aware of the fact that assessments <br />can be spread out over many years And are not due in one lump sum. Improved <br />roads would raise the value of the lots and take the School buses off the <br />highway. <br />Cdr. Cardinal noved that various rooms in the new Hall be used es follows: <br />Clerk's Office <br />Assessors Office <br />Main Office <br />Partition off far end of the Clerk's <br />office, with a separate entrance. <br />Police and Civil <br />Defense Share present Police Office <br />Small Meeting Room Flctra small room <br />Motion seconded by Mr. Rosengren, Carried Unanimously. <br />Apartition will be installed in the Clerk's office after the 1970 audit <br />has been taked. <br />it was mentioned that the Clerk could duplicate the notices for the Open <br />House rather than having a stranger use the equipment. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to order another table similar to the present one in the <br />small meeting room.
