The Road Study Board was instructed to come up with some recommendations after they <br />have a chance to look at the new thoroughfare map and the colored map and have made <br />a personal inspection of the questionable roads. <br />Mr. Locher was asked to send letters to the adjacent property owners concerning the <br />special hearing for Acton Construction Co. set for March 11th. <br />Mr. L'Allier moved that we send a letter of appreciation to John Wright for donating <br />the plaque for Mr. Ed Houle. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski made a motion that we pay the 1968 dues in the amount of $100 to the <br />Anoka Co. Assn. of League of Municipalities and send them a letter expressing the Council's <br />concern that Lino Lakes is not represented on their letterhead map. Seconded by Mr. <br />L'Allier. Vote: Mr. Bohjanen, no, since he felt that the map correction should be <br />made before payment. Rest, aye. <br />Mrs. LeTourneau appeared before the Council with a warning of more to come on the <br />matter of obtaining a permit to move in her house. She proceeded to state that she <br />had received an anonymous letter which contained inuendos referring to Mr. L'Allier's <br />house as not having been moved in on the up- and -up. At this time, Mr. L'Allier <br />produced his building permit and invited Mrs. LeTourneau and her attorney to tour his <br />home. Mrs. LeTourneau asked that the building inspector inspect, red -tag, and condemn <br />her home, built in Lino Lakes since 1955, because it had not been built to specifications <br />and have the builder make corrections. <br />Mr. L'Allier then instructed the building inspector to inspect Mrs. LeTourneau's present <br />home at 927 W. Co. Rd. J, New Brighton, Minn., and report back at the next meeting. <br />The members of the Council were asked to go through their ordinance books and note any <br />changes which should be made. They will hold a special meeting later to make these <br />changes in the form of amendments. <br />Mr. Locher will send the Clerk a copy of the resolution made by Circle Pines regarding <br />policing by the County. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved that we pay the bills as audited. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried. <br />Mr. Rosengren made a motion, seconded by Mr. Jaworski, to adjourn at 10:38 PM.
