180 <br />depending on the angle and spacing of the trailers. The width of the curb could <br />be raised if the sidewalk were next to the trailer, but is okay if next to the <br />curb. There was also much discussion on parking area, and also on park area. <br />The Village can regulate children, pets, etc., The minimum sizes of trailers <br />was discussed. The changes to be considered for Ord. 39 are summarized as follows: <br />1) The minimum size for trailers will be 45' by 10' wide. The amount of <br />trailers this size will not exceed 10% of the total parked trailers. The other <br />90% of the trailers must have at least 600 sq. ft of floor area. <br />2) The Engineer will talk to the Trailer Assn. people and the County Assessor <br />to get the tax picture for trailers, in order to help decide whether the park area <br />should be charged from 2% to 10% of total. <br />3) Lot sizes to be set at 60' by 100' with a minimum 10' setback on all <br />sides, and a 20' setback on thestreet side. <br />4) The use of parking areas with no on- street parking. <br />5) The paragraph 4k shall be changed to read "15 to the face of the curb ". <br />These are to be typed up with copies for the Council. <br />After discussion, Mr. Cardinal moved that Lino Lakes exercise the option on the <br />Waldoch property on Main Street with the following terms: $1000 down,;:$1000 per <br />year due on August first, plus 5 1/2 per cent interest, at $550 per acre. <br />Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. L'Allier then moved to authorize the Attorney and Mr. Cardinal to meet with <br />Mr. Waldoch to work up the abstract and deeds. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried. <br />Mr. Rosengren left at 10:07 p.m. <br />The police report as follows: <br />The police recommended sending a letter to the County asking that places for <br />campfires be erected at the Centerville park, that the narrow roads in Center- <br />ville Park be changed to one -way traffic, and speed limit signs on the road into <br />the park be erected. Also the "No Parking" signs should be replaced on Main Street <br />where the creek flows between Peltier Lake and Centerville Lake. Speed limit <br />signs are needed on Otter Lake Road. Mr. Myhre needs a typewriter -- the one Mr. <br />Jaworski is using will be given back to the police. <br />There was mention that a sign on property for sale on Elm Street across from Bob <br />Raymond advertized the property as commercial or heavy industrial. Other signs on <br />Highway 8 by Crystal Ahlp(man are the same. The Clerk was instructed to call Mrs. <br />Ahlman to remind her that we had no industrial zoning. <br />A letter from the Centerville Mayor was read asking that the fire contract fee <br />for the last half of the year be raised from $700 to $1000. Mr. Jaworski moved <br />to authorize Mayor L'Allier to attend the next Centerville Council meeting and <br />propose that the fire contract fee remain at $700-for the rest of the year 1969 <br />and that Centerville have a new contract ready for 19 7J in time for our budget <br />meetings. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. The Clerk was instructed to type <br />a letter to the attention of Mayor L'Allier confirming this action. Also she <br />will copy the letter from Mayor Barett and return the original to Mr. L'Allier. <br />The Mayor also listed the requirements for certification of the CD Director and <br />the Village by the State Civil Defense. He stated that Mr. Cape was working <br />on these and would meet with State officials so that we would hopefully receive <br />certification. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to pay the bills as audited. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 10:20 p.m. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />
