1 <br />Meeting of the Council of Lino Lakes on May 13, 1963 <br />Members present as follows: Mayor 'Ceiling; Trustee's Backlin, Heckenliable, <br />and Speiser; Clerk Hauer. <br />Minutes approved Speiser second by Backlin all in favor. <br />and Anfinson, reported on the auditing of the village. <br />Motion by 'Ceiling, second by Heckenliable a petition for <br />Acres plot be referred to village engineer. Engineer to <br />grading and finished streets. All in favor. <br />Bids for Park Improvement Bonds of $5000.00 werereceived <br />Coon Rapids, interest rate 3 with a check for $200.00. <br />Brighton, interest rate 4i% enclosed check for $200.00. <br />by 'Ceiling accept bid of Coon Rapids, all in favor. <br />11 <br />Herbert Perry of Bonhiver <br />rough grading of Twilight <br />furnish costs of rough <br />from First State Bank of <br />First State Bank of New <br />Motion by Speiser second <br />Engineer recommended council accept bid of Richard Holkstra, lowest bidder of <br />$3,340.41. Motion by Backlin, second by Speiser we accept Holkstra,bid, all in favor. <br />Engineer recommended council accept bid of Richard Schuh, lowest bidder of $4,200.00. <br />Motion by gelling second by Speiser we accept Schuh bid, all in favor. <br />Elmer Crohn presented a, plot, school addition, for approval. Motion by 'Ceiling, second <br />by Speiser it be turned over to Planning Board, all in favor. <br />A application for On Sale Licuor License #2 was received from Elna Baxter of the Red <br />Floor Inn. Motion by Backlin, seond by Felling that one license would be withheld., <br />all in favor. <br />Mr. Heckenliable reported on house minimum size of Brooklyn Center. Motion by <br />Heckenliable second by Felling to adopt Ordinance #32, all in favor. <br />Motion by Heckenliable, second by Speiser to grant the rezoning of Richard Lichtscheidl <br />land, all in favor. <br />Dennis Houle reported on the Forest Lake Hospital. <br />Speiser reported on the various mowers he checked on for tne village, he also reported <br />that the door iG on tne barn and tractor stored. Motion by Backlin second by 'Ceiling <br />to purchase e rotary mow*, for 5350.00, all in fevor. Motion by Backlin, second by <br />Speiser to purchase a sickle mower for $35.00, all in favor. <br />Motion by Backlin, second by Speiser to have Hockstra bury stumps in village park, all <br />in favor. <br />Backlin reported on gopher poisoning machine also checked on drainage situation at <br />6356 ,,'are Road. Motion by Backlin second by Yelling thet this situation be taken <br />care of within 30 days, all in favor. <br />Tresurer reported she received a, check for $125.00 from Vernon Swanson, Cash balance <br />$8923.57 <br />General Fund $4,458.43 <br />Civil Defense Fund 918.38 <br />Department Redemption Fund 3,582.03 <br />Gopher Fund 582.10 <br />Perks and Playgrounds Fund 11,521.64 <br />Fire Fund 299.84 <br />Road and Bridge Fund 604.43 <br />
