1 Meeting of the Council of Lino Lakes on May 13, 1963 Members present as follows: Mayor 'Ceiling; Trustee's Backlin, Heckenliable, and Speiser; Clerk Hauer. Minutes approved Speiser second by Backlin all in favor. and Anfinson, reported on the auditing of the village. Motion by 'Ceiling, second by Heckenliable a petition for Acres plot be referred to village engineer. Engineer to grading and finished streets. All in favor. Bids for Park Improvement Bonds of $5000.00 werereceived Coon Rapids, interest rate 3 with a check for $200.00. Brighton, interest rate 4i% enclosed check for $200.00. by 'Ceiling accept bid of Coon Rapids, all in favor. 11 Herbert Perry of Bonhiver rough grading of Twilight furnish costs of rough from First State Bank of First State Bank of New Motion by Speiser second Engineer recommended council accept bid of Richard Holkstra, lowest bidder of $3,340.41. Motion by Backlin, second by Speiser we accept Holkstra,bid, all in favor. Engineer recommended council accept bid of Richard Schuh, lowest bidder of $4,200.00. Motion by gelling second by Speiser we accept Schuh bid, all in favor. Elmer Crohn presented a, plot, school addition, for approval. Motion by 'Ceiling, second by Speiser it be turned over to Planning Board, all in favor. A application for On Sale Licuor License #2 was received from Elna Baxter of the Red Floor Inn. Motion by Backlin, seond by Felling that one license would be withheld., all in favor. Mr. Heckenliable reported on house minimum size of Brooklyn Center. Motion by Heckenliable second by Felling to adopt Ordinance #32, all in favor. Motion by Heckenliable, second by Speiser to grant the rezoning of Richard Lichtscheidl land, all in favor. Dennis Houle reported on the Forest Lake Hospital. Speiser reported on the various mowers he checked on for tne village, he also reported that the door iG on tne barn and tractor stored. Motion by Backlin second by 'Ceiling to purchase e rotary mow*, for 5350.00, all in fevor. Motion by Backlin, second by Speiser to purchase a sickle mower for $35.00, all in favor. Motion by Backlin, second by Speiser to have Hockstra bury stumps in village park, all in favor. Backlin reported on gopher poisoning machine also checked on drainage situation at 6356 ,,'are Road. Motion by Backlin second by Yelling thet this situation be taken care of within 30 days, all in favor. Tresurer reported she received a, check for $125.00 from Vernon Swanson, Cash balance $8923.57 General Fund $4,458.43 Civil Defense Fund 918.38 Department Redemption Fund 3,582.03 Gopher Fund 582.10 Perks and Playgrounds Fund 11,521.64 Fire Fund 299.84 Road and Bridge Fund 604.43
