1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />Meeting of the Council of Lino Lakes on August 14, 1963 <br />Members present a.s follows: Mayor telling; Trustee's Backlin, Speiser, Eeckenliable, <br />and Clerk Hauer. <br />The ?minutes of the preceding meeting were read and on motion by Heckenlieole, second <br />by Speisr, they be accepted as read. All voted in favor. <br />Motion by telling, second by Heckeilis.ble, the petition for a Special Use Permit of a <br />Sea Plane Base on Rice Lake be turned over to the Planning Board. Motion Carrred. <br />Bids were received for Bituminous Seal Coating as follows: <br />Pat McEnroe, Inc. 5% Bid Bond $4,334.00 <br />T.A. Schifsky & Sons 5% Bid Bond 3,990.00 <br />Ray Sina 'Contrasting 5% Bid Bond 3,060.00 <br />Bituminous Constructing Check for $240.00 <br />Motion by telling, second by Heckenliable, to turn bids over to Engir.neer. Motion Carried.. <br />Mr. Backlin, reported the grass is being cut in the village, and he had checked on various <br />roads in Tillage. <br />Motion by telling, second_ by Speiser, that Mr. Backlin, the village Engineer, and Mr. <br />Noekstra, to check and estimate costs of road work on 3 projects in Pillage, on Peltier <br />Street and 77th Street. Motion Carried. <br />Motion by Backlin, second by tellin :, to make e 5 year pay off of bonds, for road work, <br />on Twilight Acres. Motion Carried. <br />Motion by Heckenliable, second by Backlin, that the bid for road work in Twilight Acres <br />be awarded. to LaTa.11ey Excavating. Motion Carried. <br />Mr. Speiser, reported that he ha.d checked on the Lake Shore properties for the 7ill� c, <br />but owners didn't want to sell, also weeds in parks had been cut. <br />Treazurcr +s reports as of August 1, 1963: <br />General Fund $3,972.95 <br />Debt Redemption 4,231.99 <br />Perks & Playgrounds 3t!4.38 <br />Road & Bridge 5,661.40 <br />$5185,5 <br />Civil Defense <br />Gopher Fund <br />Tire rand <br />Mr. Lec' .cnliable, reported on the meeting of the Sewers System. <br />$1,098.95 <br />567.02 <br />309.16 <br />Motion by Heckenliable, second by Telling, the minimun house size es follows: 864 so. ft. <br />with expansion; 902 se.ft. without expansion; 720 sa.ft. two story. Motion Carried. <br />Constable Raymond, reports on Hoffman junk yard, everything will be removed by Sept. 1,1963 <br />elso checked on the property Mr. Cross property. <br />The $240.00 cash received from Bitminous Construction, Inc. was turned over to the Clerk <br />to be deposited in the General Tund. <br />
