1 <br />1 <br />7 7 <br />NOTE: Although the following minutes are signed by Zelinka, who <br />took office on January 11, 1965, they were written from the pencil <br />notes of Mr. Hauer, present at the meeting of December 28, 1964. <br />Minutes of the Council meeting of Lino Lakes, December 28, 1964. <br />Members present: Backlin, Speiser, Heckenlaible, Hauer, Domning. <br />Minutes of the preceding meeting were read and on a motion by Backlin, <br />second by Speiser, they were° accepted as read. Carried. <br />Backlin stated Richard Schu)h's contract was fulfilled, and his bid <br />check should be returned. Carried. <br />Discussion on Highway 35E. Engineer is to call Highway Department <br />for special meeting concerning a service road along 35E as soon as <br />possible. Carried. <br />Speiser stated the parks are busy and are open from 10 a.m. to <br />9 p.m. Richard Juleen has been helping at the park during vacation. <br />Motion to pay him for time at 1 /hr carried. <br />The bingo game this week will be on Wednesday, thereafter, back to <br />Thursday. <br />Juleen reported the stove in the warming house at Lino Park should <br />be removed because leaking oil has soaked the floor. Speiser will <br />check on this and also the plowing. <br />Heckenlaible reported for the Planning Commission. At next meeting <br />the council will pick 7 members for committee. Three names were <br />turned in to be considered; Jester, Scherer and Bohjanen. <br />Planning Commission proposed changing the zoning of commercial <br />property along Highway 8 and 49 and also along the new freeway. <br />Downing stated each committee will publish an annual report. <br />Municipal court will render a monthly report to the council. Our <br />share of cost will be 36% of $1,200 or $436.00. <br />Discussed 24 hour police protection. <br />Backlin moved all bills be paid. Heckenlaible seconded - carried. <br />(there were no records of what bills were approved or written for <br />this meeting). <br />Meeting adjourned. <br />Minutes approved`Jauary 11, 1965, Clerk <br />
