All members present except Dupre. <br />Roy Brisson, Chairman of the Board at the Forest Lake Hospital was <br />present and gave a background talk on the history of the hospital, the <br />current financial status and talked about the replacement needed for <br />Lino Lakes, due to the resignation of Harry Proulx. Two names were <br />suggested for this vacancy, Dennis Houle by Domning and Elgar Jester by <br />Ross. These names will be submitted to the Board for their selection. <br />Domning read a Proclamation for observance of Veteran's Day. <br />Domning also reported the County Commissioners would like to have the <br />Council submit a list of names of people who are receiving aid or welfare <br />of any kind, who could or would serve on the Poverty Program Committee. <br />The Commissioners would select 1 or 2 names from the list submitted. <br />Discussion was tabled for later in the meeting. <br />Domning stated he had been in contact with the Circle Pines Utilities and <br />a proposal may be ready for submission by the next meeting. <br />Mr. Locher read the letter he had submitted to Mr. Backlin pertaining to <br />the Kirk property on Lakeview Avenue and the drainage problem. Gottwald <br />supplemented the information in this letter by commenting on his survey <br />of the area in the last week. Following discussion of this problem, <br />Ross moved we initiate proceedings to purchase Lots 4 and 5 in Block 3 <br />to provide a ponding area.
