The regular business meeting of the Village of Lino Lakes of Jan. 23, 1967, was called to order at 8:00 PM by Mayor Downing. All councilmen ad clerk present. -. _ The minutes of the last business meeting were read and corrected. Domning motioned to accept the minutes as corrected. Second by Bohjanen. Carried. The minutes of the special meeting of Ja. 17, 1967 were read and approved. Ross motioned to approve these minutes as read. Second by Domning. Carried. Mr. Waldemar Hill reported on the audit, saying he would make copies of the financial report for the councilmen. Cash balace, start of 1966 $23,486.04 Receipts for 1966 67,663.02 Disbursements for 1966 77,874.76 End B&ance for year $13,374.30 Mr. Hill recommended a transfer of funds to Road ad Bridges, or combining all revenue funds into one, to avoid rehadling of monies. The assessed valuation of Lino Lakes if $886,996.00. The mill rite IIIfor 1967 taxes went down to 49.64 mills. The debt redemption started with a balance of $4,764 and ended with a balance of $ 5,361.00. Mr. Robert Martin of the Springsted Bond Consultants was introduced by Mayor Domning. He reqested that we approve Springsted as Village Consultats, after a promotional explanation of his companie's service. Mayor Domning stated we should study our present system before caking any move to acquire a professional bond company.
