248 <br />The regular meeting of the Village of Lino Lakes was called to order at 8:00 PM October <br />23, 1967, with all members present. <br />Minutes of the October 9th meeting were read. Motion made by Mr. Bohjanen to accept <br />minutes as corrected. Seconded by Mr. L'Allier. Motion carried. <br />P&Z Board minutes read. Mr. Cardinal made a motion to grant a variance to Ord. No. 21 <br />on the property owned by Mr. & Mrs. Joseph LaCasse known as: North 100 feet of S 875 <br />feet West 183 feet of SW Quarter Sec. 25, Twn. 31N, Range 22W. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion to disapprove request made by Mr. Goodhue, on request of Mr. <br />Goodhue, to build on Birch Lane. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Cardinal made a motion that the P&Z will meet:: on November 8th at 8:00 PM to set <br />up hearings on the commercial use of the Don Lundgren property for a land fill dump. <br />Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that the P&Z Board check with other villages and report back, <br />also that the Clerk make a spot check on charges made regarding building permits. Sec- <br />onded by Mr. Rosengren. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Cardinal made a motion that the Council accept the preliminary plat for the Bloom - <br />quist addition. Seconded by Mr. L'Allier. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Rosengren made a motion that the Village of Lino Lakes purchase a filing cabinet <br />for approximately $75.00 and a duplicating machine for $175.00. Seconded by Mr. <br />L'Allier. Motion carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that we accept Midwest Planning & Research Inc.'s offer to <br />furnish us with a preliminary cost of planning for Village parks at no cost to our <br />Village. Seconded by Mr. Ross. Motion carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that the Clerk advertise for bids on cutting of parks for <br />the coming year. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that the Road Dept. be authorized to grade roads and fill <br />in spots near the highway on roads now known as Maple, Orange and the crossroad between <br />them, this to be partial maintenance under Order No. 22, Sect. 15, also that people be <br />contancted to inform them of the Council's intent and that meetipgs will be scheduled <br />for this winter to hold hearings so the residents can bring the roads up to Village <br />standards and pay for this through assessments. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion <br />carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that Mr. Leo Peppin of 381 Chestnut Street be contacted and <br />see what he intends to do with his property on Rolling Hills Drive. Seconded by Mr. <br />Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that our Attorney Ming before the Anoka County District <br />Court asking for a summary judgement in the Circle Pines gas issue; also that this <br />action in no way should jeopardize any future action Lino Lakes may decide to take <br />against the Circle Pines Gas people. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Rosengren asked Mr. Locher to check on Nancy Drive and Vicki Lane to see if they <br />are Village streets. <br />Mr. Rosengren asked for up -to -date maps of all buried cables and pipes in the Village. <br />The Clerk will secure. <br />
