CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNCIL MINUTES <br />FEBRUARY 2, 1994 <br />DATE February 2, 1994 <br />TIME STARTED . 5..:;00 P.M. <br />TIME -.ENDED.` 6:08 P.M. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Reinert, Neal, Elliott, Berge <br />MEMBERS ABSENT ;• Kuether <br />son <br />Staff members present: City Engineer, Darrell Schneider; <br />Planning Coordinator, Mary Kay Wyland; Community Development <br />Director, Brian Wessel; Consulting Planner, Al Brixus; City <br />Administrator, Randy Schumacher and Clerk -Treasurer Marilyn <br />Anderson. <br />Mayor Reinert made a brief statement regarding Council Member <br />attendance at Council work sessions. <br />REVISION OF WEIGHT RESTRICTION POLICY <br />Mr. Schumacher explained the present weight restriction policy <br />for City streets during spring thaw and noted that Mr. Volk is <br />considering enforcing the weight restrictions as required by the <br />City Code. This matter will be discussed at the next Council <br />work session and at the builders and developers meeting which is <br />scheduled for February 18, 1994. <br />Mayor Reinert asked Council Members to let Mr. Schumacher know <br />immediately if they do not support the proposed City Code <br />enforcement. <br />REQUEST FOR VARIANCE FOR HOUSE CONSTRUCTED WITHIN THE SET BACK <br />RESTRICTION <br />Mr. Schumacher explained that he has been informed by the <br />Building Inspector that a house was constructed during this <br />winter season and it does not meet side yard setback <br />requirements.
