He is recommending approval of the hiring of the <br />four individuals brought forward. With that approval, they will begin their training on January 5. He <br />noted the names of the four candidates and gave a brief overview of their background and experience. <br />Chief Swenson noted that the first group of firefighter trainees is finishing up. There are additional <br />applicants being considered for the hiring process also. <br />He gave a brief update on the plans for the new fire station. <br />Council Member Rafferty moved to approve the hiring of Jason Clampitt, Jonas Werpy, Paul <br />Kartman and Brian Finke. Council Member Stoesz seconded the motion.
