1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />COUNCIL MINUTES JUNE 13, 1994 <br />that the survey could be revised in a neutral, unbiased fashion <br />manner and the results would be important in completing the <br />Comprehensive Land Use Plan update. <br />Mayor Reinert noted that at times, questions or suggestions are <br />solicited from the residents in the newsletter with very little <br />response. He noted that Ms. Turners suggestions will be taken <br />into consideration. Ms. Turner said that the survey can be <br />useful in making residents more aware of the information in the <br />newsletter. <br />Mayor Reinert thanked Ms. Turner for her presentation. <br />Al DeMotts, 6265 Holly Drive said that both Ms. Donlin and Ms. <br />Turner have brought a very important matter before the City <br />Council. He felt that most residents do not read the newsletter <br />and a residents survey could be a way to get the residents <br />interested in reading the newsletter and eventually get them <br />interested in the City government. <br />June 13, 1994 Disbursements - Council Member Kuether asked about <br />the $325.00 disbursement for the new squad car. Police Chief <br />Pecchia explained that the disbursement was for equipment to <br />change the car from an unmarked squad to a marked squad. Council <br />Member Kuether moved to approve the June 13, 1994 disbursements <br />as presented. Council Member Elliott seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD REPORT <br />Consideration of Final Plat, Pheasant Hills Preserve, Fifth <br />Addition - Mr. Schneider explained that this property is located <br />on the north side of Birch Street and on the west side of <br />Pheasant Hills Preserve. The subdivision is zoned R -1X and <br />contains 36 lots. The preliminary plat was approved in February, <br />1994. The utility construction is currently being completed and <br />a development agreement and financial guarantees have been posted <br />with the City for the construction of the project. The staff has <br />reviewed the final plat and recommends approval subject to review <br />of the title commitment by the City Attorney. <br />Council Member Bergeson moved to approve the final plat of <br />Pheasant Hills Preserve, Fifth Addition subject to review of the <br />title commitment by the City Attorney. Council Member Elliott <br />seconded the motion.
