§ 1007.023 ENFORCEMENT AND PENALTIES. <br />(1) Administration and Enforcement. <br />(a) This Ordinance shall be administered and enforced by the Zoning Administrator <br />who is appointed by the City Council. The Zoning Administrator may institute in the name of <br />the City of Lino Lakes any appropriate actions or proceedings against a violator as provided by <br />statute, ordinance, or code. <br />(b) If the provisions of this Ordinance are being violated, the City shall notify, in <br />writing, the person responsible for such violations, indicating the nature of the violation and <br />ordering the action necessary to correct it. The City shall order discontinuance of illegal use of <br />land, buildings or structures; removal of illegal buildings or structures or of additions, alterations <br />or structural changes thereto; discontinuance of any illegal work being done; or shall take any <br />other action authorized by this Section to insure compliance with or to prevent violation of its <br />provisions. <br />(2) Penalties, Violations, and Enforcement. In addition to the remedies set out in the <br />paragraph above, the City may enforce any provisions of this Ordinance by mandamus, <br />injunction, or any other appropriate remedy in any court of competent jurisdiction. <br />2-29 <br />
