1 <br />COUNCIL MEETING OCTOBER 9,1995 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNCIL MINUTES <br />DATE : October 9, 1995 <br />TIME STARTED : 6:30 P.M. <br />TIME ENDED : 7:48 P.M. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT : Elliott, Kuether, Neal, Reinert <br />MEMBERS ABSENT : Bergeson <br />Staff members present: Acting City Attorney, Barry Sullivan; City Engineer, David <br />Ahrens; Consulting Engineer, Steve Heth, SEH; Building Official, Peter Kluegel; Parks <br />and Recreation Director, Marty Asleson; Chief of Police, David Pecchia; Police Office <br />Manager, Rene Kaulfuss; City Administrator, Randy Schumacher and Clerk -Treasurer <br />Marilyn Anderson. <br />SETTING THE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as presented. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />No one appeared under open mike. <br />CONSIDERATION OF DISBURSEMENTS <br />September 29, 1995 - Council Member Neal moved to approve these minutes as <br />presented. Council Member Kuether seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />October 9, 1995 - Council Member Kuether moved to approve these disbursements as <br />presented. Council Member Neal seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Centennial Fire District - Council Member Kuether moved to approve these <br />disbursements as presented. Council Member Neal seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT, CHIEF PECCHIA <br />Consideration of a Leave of Absence for Police Records Clerk - Chief Pecchia <br />explained that a letter was received from the Police Records Clerk requesting a leave of <br />absence. This person has exhausted all paid leave of absence categories and her Family <br />Medical Leave. The Council may grant up to a 90 day leave of absence. The Council <br />may also grant an additional leave, without pay, up to but longer than one year after the <br />initial 90 day leave of absence ends. <br />PAGE 1 <br />
