COUNCIL MEETING DECEMBER 18, 1995 <br />DATE <br />TIME STARTED <br />TIME ENDED <br />MEMBERS PRESENT <br />MEMBERS ABSENT <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNCIL MINUTES <br />: December 18, 1995 <br />. 6:30 P.M. <br />. 7:43 P.M. <br />: Bergeson, Elliott, Kuether, Neal, Reinert <br />: None <br />Staff Members present: City Engineer, David Ahrens; Consulting Engineers, John <br />Powell and Tim Murphy; Chief of Police, David Pecchia; Planning Coordinator, Mary <br />Kay Wyland; Community Development Director, Brian Wessel; Bond Consulting Bond <br />Attorney, Ron Batty; Fire Chief, Milo Bennett; City Administrator, Randy Schumacher <br />and Clerk -Treasurer Marilyn Anderson. <br />SETTING THE AGENDA <br />An item was added under new business titled, Suspension and Termination of Officer <br />Bruce Keller. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />No one appeared under open mike. <br />CONSIDERATION OF DISBURSEMENTS <br />December 18, 1995 - Council Member Neal moved to approve this disbursement as <br />presented. Council Member Kuether seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT, CHIEF PECCHIA <br />Swear -in Police Officer William Koch - Chief Pecchia explained that Officer Koch has <br />been with the Police Department approximately two (2) months. Officer Koch brings <br />with him a variety of experience from neighboring police departments including Spring <br />Lake Park where he served a college internship, the Blaine Police Department where he <br />served for several years as a community service representative and also served as a court <br />security officer for Anoka County Sheriffs office. Mayor Reinert administered the oath <br />of office and welcomed Officer Koch as a police officer. <br />PAGE 1 <br />
