COUNCIL MEETING JANUARY 8, 1996 <br />funds. These funds are to be used for the benefit of low income persons/households or <br />clean up conditions of slum and blight. <br />The City has been notified that for the 1996-1997 grant year, an estimated $37,600.00 will <br />be available. Each year a number of organization come before the City Council to explain <br />their program and ask for a portion of the grant funds. The following is a list of projects <br />that the City has funded in the past and is currently funding: <br />ACCAP <br />Alexandra House <br />Community Emergency Assistance Program, Inc. <br />Forest Lake Youth Service Bureau <br />Meals on Wheels <br />Rise, Inc. <br />Lino Lakes Senior Coordinator <br />Adaptive -Integrated Therapeutic Recreation Program <br />City's American's with Disabilities Program <br />Land Use Housing Need/Economic Development Impact Study Phase I <br />Land Use Housing Need/Economic Development Impact Study (continuation) <br />A number of these organizations will be at the January 22, 1996 Council meeting to <br />explain their program and request a portion of the grant funds. <br />Council Member Kuether moved to set the public hearing for January 22, 1996, 6:30 P.M. <br />Council Member Neal seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Council Member Kuether moved to adjourn at 7:12 P.M. Council Member Neal seconded <br />the motion.
