2 <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING AUGUST 8, 1994 <br />for providing Solid Waste Coordinator services to that city. If <br />the contract is ratified by the City of Lino Lakes, the <br />designated Lino Lakes Solid Waste Coordinator will provide the <br />similar services for the City of Lexington. The contract <br />provides for 15 hours per week services to the City of Lexington <br />and the billing rate will be at $12.00 per hour. An office for <br />the Solid Waste Coordinator will be provided by both the City of <br />Lino Lakes and the City of Lexington. The term of the contract <br />is one (1) year and will automatically renew for one (1) year <br />terms. The is a 30 day cancellation clause. <br />The City of Lexington considered and approved the contract at <br />their August 7, 1994 meeting. <br />Council Member Elliott moved to ratify the contract for Solid <br />Waste. Coordinator services with the City of Lexington. Council <br />Member Neal seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Consideration of an Application for a Block Party, Gray Heron <br />Drive - Mrs. Anderson presented an application for a block party <br />on Gray Heron Drive and noted that this is a through street. The <br />Public Works Department has noted a safety concern. There would <br />be access to all homes in the area from either Elm Street or <br />Whippoorwill Lane. <br />After discussion of the safety concerns, Council Member Elliott <br />moved to approve the block party and direct the Public Works <br />Department to provide adequate barricades to block the area at <br />each end of the street. Council Member Kuether seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Consideration of an Application for a Block Party, Heather <br />Court - Mrs. Anderson presented an application for a block party <br />on Heather Court and noted that this is a cul-de-sac. The safety <br />issues noted with the above block party request will not be an <br />issue. <br />Council Member Elliott moved to approve the application for a <br />block party for Heather Court. Council Member Bergeson seconded <br />the motion.
