This item will <br />be delayed until the March 27, 1995 Council meeting. <br />STATE OF THE CITY ADDRESS, MAYOR REINERT <br />Mayor Reinert presented his State of the City Address. A copy of <br />his text is attached to these minutes. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />20/20 Vision Update, Kim Sullivan - Ms. Sullivan gave a brief <br />update on this project. She pointed out an "update board" that <br />will show what is next on the agenda for the 20/20 Vision. Ms. <br />Sullivan explained that the Park and Recreation Group met on <br />Saturday and toured three (3) community centers, Maplewood, <br />Shoreview and New Brighton. The consensus of the group was that <br />the Shoreview community center would provide a good balanced <br />setting for the entire family. The Park and Recreation group also <br />liked the "campus" style of construction. The city hall was <br />attached to the community center. This group will be meeting every <br />Wednesday at the city hall. <br />Next Saturday the Economic Development and Environmental groups <br />will start their 20/20 Vision process.
