• <br />COUNCIL MINUTES JANUARY 13, 1997 <br />Also, without knowing what is on the Work Session agenda, it is difficult to notify the <br />newspaper ahead of time. Mayor Landers stated having a reporter occasionally attend Work <br />Session would benefit residents. Mr. Wahl stated he is willing to work in that regard and <br />understands the need to add to the current staff level in the future. <br />Council Member Neal moved to appoint both the Forest Lake Times and the Quad Community <br />Press as Lino Lakes' legal newspaper in 1997. <br />Mayor Landers declared this motion has not received a second and, therefore, is dead. <br />Mayor Landers stated he does not believe Lino Lakes is large enough to warrant having two legal <br />newspaper. <br />Council Member Bergeson moved to appoint the Quad Community Press as Lino Lakes legal <br />newspaper in 1997. Council Member Lyden seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Legal Depositories - Council Member Bergeson moved to appoint Norwest, First Bank NA, <br />Firstar Bank, Merrill Lynch, Dain Bosworth, Juran & Moody, and Prudential Bache as legal <br />depositories in 1997. Council Member Neal seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Consideration of Minutes, December 9, 1996 (Council Member Neal and Mayors Landers <br />were absent) - This item was not considered since Council Member Kuether had been excused <br />and was absent from the meeting. <br />REMINDER, Council Work Session is scheduled for Tuesday, January 14, 1997, 5:30 P.M. to <br />discuss revised Zoning Ordinance. <br />REMINDER, Council Work Session is scheduled for Thursday, January 16, 1997, 5:00 P.M. to <br />discuss the Village Master Plan. <br />Due to a scheduling conflict for the presentation, Mr. Wessel requested the time be changed to <br />5:30 P.M. Council agreed and directed staff to revise the notice posted on the City Hall door. <br />Council Member Bergeson moved to adjourn at 10:06 P.M. Council Member Lyden seconded <br />the motion.
