• <br />• <br />• <br />SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING JANUARY 14, 1997 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />MINUTES <br />DATE January 14, 1997 <br />TIME STARTED 5:30 p.m. <br />TIME ENDED 8:50 p.m. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT •Council Members Bergeson, Kuether, Lyden, <br />Neal and Mayor Landers <br />MEMBERS ABSENT None <br />Staff members present: City Administrator, Randy Schumacher; Consulting Planner, <br />Alan Brixius; Planning Coordinator, Mary Kay Wyland; Community Development <br />Director, Brian Wessel and Clerk -Treasurer Marilyn Anderson. <br />The purpose of the special meeting was to review the draft of the <br />Ordinance. <br />Council asked Mr. Brixius to highlight the changes at ar ro a the new Zoning <br />Ordinance. <br />SECTION 1. The draft Ordinance refers to agricultural <br />buildings on 20 acres of land or more. Council Members Kuether and Lyden did not <br />agree with this change. After further discussion, Mr. Brixius said that if Council felt <br />strongly about this, he would leave it as it is in the current Ordinance. <br />Page 1-10. The definition of Domestic Animals was added. <br />The definition of Apartment units was expanded to include efficiency <br />units and mother-in-law apartments. <br />The definition of Bluff was added. <br />PAGE 1 <br />
