COUNCIL MINUTES MARCH 24, 1997 <br />• This meeting will take place at the Lino Lakes City Hall. Mr. Wessel explained it is imperative <br />to determine what the Metropolitan Council has in mind for the blueprint for growth. <br />REMINDER, Special Council Meeting for Annual Review of City Administrator, April 9, 1997, <br />4:30 p.m. <br />REMINDER, Board of Review Set for Monday, April 21, 1997, 6:30 p.m. <br />Consideration of Joint Letter to the Charter Commission from the City Council - Mr. <br />Schumacher reviewed the background for the letter as well as the steps outlined in the letter to <br />the Charter Commission. <br />Council Member Kuether stated she is not comfortable voting to spend large amounts of money <br />and then not have a plan in place to carry this through to the end. <br />Mayor Landers stated if this is voted down in November, the construction season is lost and <br />these roads will not last much longer. <br />Council Member Kuether recommended to change the word "supported" to "provided" in the <br />second to the last paragraph in the letter. <br />Council Member Bergeson moved to adopt the draft letter to be sent to the Charter Commission <br />with the change made by Council Member Kuether. Council Member Neal seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />ADJOURN <br />Council Member Neal moved to adjourn at 10:12 P.M. Council Member Lyden seconded the <br />motion.
