Zoning Board have just completed an update of the zoning ordinance. We <br />are also in the middle of an update of our Comprehensive Plan. <br />To help insure our environmental uniqueness is maintained, we created an <br />Environmental Advisory Committee last year. We are currently working <br />with this committee to define its role. In the mean time, this committee is <br />sponsoring informative environmental seminars which are open to the <br />public. <br />I would like to take this opportunity to thank my fellow council members <br />for their hard work throughout the year. As you can see, 1996 was a very <br />busy year, and 1997 will be no different. I would also like to thank all our <br />staff members, as well as our advisory boards and committees: <br />Planning and Zoning Board <br />Park and Recreation Board <br />Economic Development Authority Advisory Board <br />Citizens Advisory Group <br />Environmental Affairs Committee <br />Comp. Plan Task Force <br />Friends of the Parks <br />Trails Committee <br />and Town Center Committee members <br />This is a very exciting time for the residents of Lino Lakes.
