5. LCMR Greenway Re -submittal for Clearwater Creek, Marty Asleson (Request to <br />proceed with resubmittal of grant for Clearwater Creek Greenway <br />Corridor project) <br />6. The agencies who requested funding are as <br />follows: Alexandra House, ARC, CEAP, Forest Lake Youth Service <br />Bureau, N. Anoka Meals on Wheels, Rise, Senior Coordinator for Lino <br />Lakes.) <br />7. Area and Unit Funding, Mary Vaske (Was not Discussed -Not enough <br />information. Appropriate staff will be meeting the week of Feb. 9th & <br />16th) <br />8. SAC Refund Policy, Mary Vaske ( On a city map Ms. Vaske showed all <br />properties that have paid SAC. Discussed some options and asked City <br />Council to set a policy for refunding SAC. Council will review and bring <br />back in 2 weeks) <br />9. Shoreview Joint Powers, Mary Vaske (Explained Joint Powers Agreement <br />pertaining to Woodridge Estates Assessments. Council asked her to <br />consult with attorney, Bill Hawkins) <br />10. Fire Fighter Pension, Milo Bennett (Milo requested an increase in Firefighter <br />Pension. The increase would benefit from $2400. per year of service to <br />$3000. per year of service. He reported that the Firefighter Pension has <br />enough money to allow for an increase. He presented Council with the <br />documents that have been presented to and approved by the Fire Steering <br />Committee.) <br />11. Universal Sign - Resolution Regarding Advertising in RB -R District, M. Wyland <br />(Ms. Wyland explained that Universal Outdoor Inc. is asking for Council <br />support of a resolution that would reiterate the provisions of the City's <br />sign ordinance and the R -BR Zoning District in the allowance of outdoor <br />advertising signs in the R -BR District. The resolution, once adopted, would <br />then be submitted to MNDOT for their review as they must issue <br />permits for advertising signs along the freeway and have, so far <br />determined they are not allowed by federal regulations in this area. Mr. <br />Mike Cronin, representing Universal Outdoor Inc. was present to address <br />council questions. After some discussion, Council determined that this <br />item should be placed on the Agenda for February 23. <br />12. Moderate Growth Option, B.
