Council Member Lyden introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-41 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT - LAKES ADDITION SANITARY SEWER REHABILITATION <br />PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Lakes <br />Addition Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated <br />according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the <br />advertisement: <br />Name Bid Amount <br />Visu-Sewer Clean & Seal $ 83,444.43 <br />Infratech $ 94,976.30 <br />Insituform Technolgies $ 95,674.42 <br />LaMetti & Sons $107,936.00 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Visu-Sewer Clean & Seal, is the lowest responsible <br />bidder; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br />Visu-Sewer Clean & Seal, , Minnesota 55, in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for <br />the construction of the Lilac Street Utility Improvements according to the plans and <br />specifications approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2.
