Council Member Lyden introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-44 <br />RESOLUTION ON THE NEED FOR AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />STATEMENT FOR THE VILLAGE PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the City has prepared an Environmental Assessment Worksheet for <br />the Village Project, and <br />WHEREAS, the Environmental Assessment Worksheet was made available for <br />public comment as per Minnesota Statutes; and <br />WHEREAS, the 30 day comment period has expired; and <br />WHEREAS, the City received the attached comments, none of which <br />recommended than an Environmental Impact Statement be prepared; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes that after reviewing the comments from the responding agencies and by <br />its determination considering the requirements in Minnesota Statutes regarding <br />the decision on the need for an Environmental Impact Statement, make a <br />negative declaration that an Environmental Impact Statement is not required. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of this negative declaration be sent to <br />all persons on the EAW distribution list, any persons who commented, and to <br />anyone who has requested notification. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of <br />ATTEST: <br />ak.SL, <br />Marilyn G.
