• <br />• <br />• <br />COUNCIL MINUTES April 27, 1998 <br />Council Member Neal moved to approve the Interim Use Permit, to allow nine (9) <br />Advertising Signs on the West Side of I -35E, between Main Street and 80th Street. <br />Council Member Dahl seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. McCarver explained that the next step was to get a permit from MnDOT. When that <br />was completed, he would return to the City to obtain the Interim Use Permits. <br />Comprehensive Plan Update - Mr. Wessel informed the Council the next meeting <br />would be Thursday, May 21, 1998, at 6:00 p.m., in the work session format. The meeting <br />would involve the summarization of the neighborhoods and districts which will be <br />forwarded to the Council this fall. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL AND FORESTRY DEPARTMENT, MARTY ASLESON <br />Consideration of the SECOND READING of Ordinance No. 03 - 98, Amendment to <br />Chapter 200, Subdivision 211 of the City Code, Parks, Recreation and <br />Environmental Commission - Mr. Asleson explained that on March 27, 1998, the City <br />Council approved the FIRST READING of this Ordinance Amendment. The Ordinance <br />Amendment removed the duties now assigned to the Environmental Board. <br />Mr. Asleson stated that there have been no changes, additions, or corrections to the <br />Ordinance since the FIRST READING. Mr. Asleson asked the Council to approve a <br />motion adopting the SECOND READING of Ordinance No. 03 - 98. <br />Council Member Neal moved to adopt the SECOND READING of Ordinance No. 03 - <br />98, as presented. Council Member Bergeson seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 03 - 98 can be found at the end of these minutes. <br />Consideration of the SECOND READING of Ordinance No. 04 - 98, Creation of the <br />Environmental Board, Chapter 22, Subdivision 217 - Mr. Asleson explained that on <br />March 27, 1998, the City Council approved the FIRST READING of this Ordinance <br />creating the Environmental Board. There have been no changes, additions, or corrections <br />to the Ordinance since the FIRST READING. <br />Mr. Asleson asked the Council to approve a motion adopting the SECOND READING of <br />Ordinance No. 04 - 98. <br />Council Member Neal moved to adopt the SECOND READING of Ordinance No. 04 - <br />98, as presented. Council Member Dahl seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 04 - 98 can be found at the end of these minutes. <br />
