• <br />• <br />COUNCIL WORK SESSION MAY 6,1998 <br />want their SAC refunded because sanitary sewer may be extended into their area in the <br />near future. <br />A draft letter announcing the offer to return the SAC to the property owners was <br />presented to the Council. <br />There was discussion as to who should contact Metropolitan Council. Since this is a <br />political issue, it was suggested that Council Member Bergeson make the call. <br />The amount of interest on the SAC was discussed. It was decided the interest should be <br />4%. Staff was asked to make sure that the language in the letter was specific. By June 1st, a list of six (6) or eight (8) candidates will have been selected by <br />PDI and the Council. Interviews and testing will begin to determine the top three (3) <br />candidates. <br />Discussion followed regarding the membership of the groups conducting the interviews. <br />It was decided to include staff representatives, department heads, advisory board <br />representatives and the entire City Council in the interview groups. <br />Mayor Sullivan asked that PDI submit a list of questions to be used for the interviews. <br />PAGE 5 <br />
