• <br />• <br />• <br />MINUTES JUNE 28, 1998 <br />It was further mentioned that the contract to chip the wood <br />should include removal of the chips from the site. The DNR is <br />not acceptable to burning the trees and debris at this time. <br />Dave Pecchia noted that an Emergency Declaration/resolution will <br />need to be introduced at the next regularly scheduled Council <br />meeting. He further noted that he will be attending a meeting on <br />Wednesday to discuss FEMA reimbursement for the costs incurred by <br />the City relating to the storm of May 15. <br />MOTION: A motion was made by Mayor Sullivan and it was seconded <br />by Caroline Dahl to authorize funds in the amount of <br />$70,000 for the costs associated with the storm <br />cleanup. Motion carried, 4 yes, 0 no. <br />Andy Neal wished to publicly thank staff for their commitment to <br />the City and the residents during the storm cleanup. It was <br />further noted that the Lino Lakes Police Reserves donated 53 <br />hours to assist with security. Centennial Fire District staff <br />once again assisted with handing out flyers in the storm damaged <br />areas.
