• <br />• <br />• <br />Council Member Bergeson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98- 126 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING THE CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT FOR THE OTTER LAKE ROAD REALIGNMENT IMPROVEMENTS. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the roadway, storm <br />sewer, and ponding improvements along realigned Otter Lake <br />Road between Main Street and 500 feet south of Cedar Street; <br />bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to law, and <br />the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Name and Address <br />Arnt Construction Co., Inc. <br />P.O. Box 549 <br />Hugo, Minnesota 55038 <br />Richard Knutson, Inc. <br />12585 Rhode Island Avenue So. <br />Savage, Minnesota 55378 <br />Amount of Bid <br />$ 1, 537, 036.01 <br />$ 1,650,989.93 <br />AND WHEREAS, It appears that Arnt Construction Co., Inc., is the lowest responsible <br />bidder, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the <br />contract with Arnt Construction Co., Inc., mailing address of Hugo, Minnesota, in <br />the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the Otter Lake Road Realignment <br />Improvements, according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by <br />the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2.
