• <br />COUNCIL MINUTES SEPTEMBER 14, 1998 <br />Mayor Sullivan asked Mr. Hawkins if a technicality regarding the minutes is an issue. Mr. <br />Hawkins stated that Council has to make the final decision regarding the minutes. If there is an <br />objection from a Council Member it should be noted. <br />Council Member Lyden suggested this item be tabled. Council Member Dahl rescinded her <br />motion. Mayor Sullivan rescinded her second of the motion. <br />Council Member Lyden moved to table the August 19, 1998, minutes. Council Member Dahl <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried with Council Member Neal abstaining. <br />Mr. Pecchia asked for clarification regarding action of the August 19, 1998, minutes. <br />Mayor Sullivan asked staff to determine if someone can remember better if staff direction <br />regarding Ms. Connie Baumann was made. Whatever decision is determined will be acceptable. <br />General Discussion of Minutes, Council Member Dahl - Council Member Dahl stated she <br />believes it is a good idea to receive minutes from the City of Centerville at least on a monthly <br />basis. Lino Lakes does have Joint Powers Agreements with the City of Centerville and does <br />receive minutes from all the Circle Pines meetings. She stated she highly recommends receiving <br />minutes from the City of Centerville. Council Member Neal stated the did receive the Centerville <br />minutes in the past. <br />1111 Council Member Dahl stated it is also vitally important to have EDAC minutes from their <br />meetings. Mr. Wessel stated the EDAC minutes are available. <br />Council Member Dahl stated the EDAC minutes are not included in their packets. Mr. Wessel <br />stated the minutes can be included in their packets. <br />Mayor Sullivan stated she supports Council Member Dahl's comments. She would also like to <br />see more information from Anoka County. <br />Council Member Neal asked if Centerville receives Lino Lakes minutes. Ms. Anderson <br />indicated Centerville does receive minutes from Lino Lakes. She stated the City was receiving <br />minutes from Centerville on a regular basis. She will contact Centerville regarding this issue. <br />It was the general consensus of the Council to direct Ms. Anderson to contact the City of <br />Centerville asking that the City receive their minutes at least on a monthly basis. <br />Consideration of Minutes, August 24, 1998 - Mayor Sullivan stated that page 9, paragraph 1, <br />should read "Public Works Director/City Engineer position". <br />Council Member Lyden moved to approve the amended August 24, 1998, minutes. Council <br />Member Dahl seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
