• <br />• <br />SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING JANUARY 13, 1999 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />MINUTES <br />DATE January 13, 1999 <br />TIME STARTED 4:55 p.m. <br />TIME ENDED 9:30 p.m. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT Bergeson, Dahl, Lyden, Neal, Sullivan <br />MEMBERS ABSENT None <br />Staff members present: Dan Tesch, Administration Director (Part) and Clerk -Treasurer <br />Marilyn Anderson. <br />The purpose of the meeting was to interview several candidates for positions on the Park <br />Board, Planning and Zoning Board, Economic Development AdvisoryCommittee <br />(EDAC) and Environmental Board. It is the consensus of the Council to complete <br />the appointment process and have board and committee apnts completed so that <br />the new members can take their positions effective Marc: <br />Dan presented four (4) handouts. The first l <br />scheduled to be interview this evening. The <br />would be directed to each candidate an <br />names of the candidates that are <br />andout contained the questions that <br />idout outlined the criteria for board <br />appointments. The purpose of the third handout was to help the Council Members <br />determine the qualifications of potentialadvisory board members. The fourth handout <br />outlined the dates and names ' arc °dates who would be interviewed in February. <br />The City Council review;; o=list of names to be interviewed and noted that staff <br />member, Brian Wessel w• hedged to be interviewed for EDAC on Wednesday, <br />February 3, 1999.
