Two (2) options suggested were charging the County for services and the Lino <br />Lakes Police Department providing coverage for other cities in the Quad area. <br />Chief Pecchia indicated that the Police Department has applied for $140,000 grant for the <br />officers in the D.A.R.E. program. All Federal Grant Officers are fully funded for three <br />(3) years. Chief Pecchia also anticipates that the population increase in the next three (3) <br />years will insure a tax capacity rate to fund the additional officers. <br />4 <br />
