• COUNCIL MINUTES JULY 12,1999 Council Member Bergeson moved to approve the amended June 9, 1999, Council Work Session minutes, as presented. Council Member Dahl seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Consideration of Block Party, Linden Lane - Staff indicated a request for a block party was received earlier today. Since the block party is to be held this weekend, staff requested that Council consider this request at this time. The block party will be held in a cul-de-sac and adjoining property owners have been notified and invited to the party. Staff recommended approval of the application contingent upon the approval of the Police Department and Public Work Superintendent. Staff noted that Linden Lane itself would not be blocked off. Council Member Dahl moved to approve the application for a block party, Linden Lane, as requested by staff considering that only the area of the cul-de-sac will be blocked. Council Member Lyden seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Discussion of Policy Memorandum - Council Member Lyden e e ed a memorandum this past weekend regarding City Council beh o e rred to Item #3 of the memorandum. Council Member Lyden stated his personal view the s ation referred to in the memorandum. Mayor Sullivan responded to Council Me ements.
