•
•
COUNCIL MINUTES OCTOBER 9, 2000
lasts 20+ years, staff recommends that a SC8000 Model be used as specified. Also, Stepp
Manufacturing did not provide a list of municipal users of their product as requested. The bid as
submitted is incomplete.
Ruffridge-Johnson Equipment Company, Inc. bid documents satisfy all requirements set forth in the
bid specifications. In addition to the bid amount, there will be approximately $2,000 of additional
costs for equipping the vehicle with a radio and other needed equipment.
For these reasons, staff recommends adopting Resolution No. 00 — 97, rejecting the bid received from
Stepp Manufacturing and awarding the contract to Ruffridge-Johnson. The funding for the Flusher
Truck will be from the proceeds of the 2001 Certificates of Indebtedness.
Council Member Carlson moved to adopt Resolution No. 00 - 97, as presented. Council Member
O'Donnell seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
Resolution No. 00 — 97 can be found in the City Clerk's office.
ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT, DAN C - TINUED
Public Hearing, FIRST READING on Ordinance NSI
with Reliant Energy Minnegasco (continued from
Linda Waite Smith, Continued — Staff advised
explained the purpose of each.
opting a Franchise Agreement
er 5, 2000, 3/5 Vote Required),
consider two ordinances and
Mayor Bergeson opened the continued s m earing at 7:02 p.m.
Robert Bening, 6788 E.
