OHN <br />Staff distributed a copy of a letter from the City t C my , ngineer. The letter <br />included a list of questions regarding options f ,t. Staff also distributed a copy <br />Y <br />of a letter of response from the County and .' ist o,.•ns. Staff advised the County <br />Engineer will review the options for the pro t this ening. <br />Mayor Bergeson advised Ms. Marg , • , County Commissioner, is present this <br />evening. <br />Mr. Jon Olson, County E c forward and stated the purpose of the meeting is <br />to give a brief history of the . ect and present options that are available to the City. He <br />reviewed the backgrooject and noted the proposed project was discussed <br />with the City Council °$ , 2000. That meeting is what led to the letter from the <br />City and the County's r= • onse. <br />Mr. Olson reviewed option A noting that was the plan that was originally proposed in <br />April 2000. <br />Mr. Olson referred to option B noting it is a modified proposal that was presented to the <br />City Council in August 2000. He advised the problem with option B is it is trying to fit a <br />wide road section into a narrow right-of-way. The option will require an additional 5' <br />wide trail easement in some areas. A median could be put in place but would prohibit <br />left-hand turns in all locations except where absolutely necessary. The County would <br />purchase 100' minimum right-of-way. <br />Mr. Olson summarized the City's letter and the County's response advising that the road <br />section cannot be limited to 52' or 62' feet if it remains a County road.
